About translations…

Disclaimer by the author concerning non-English translations of his book Angelic Defenders & Demonic Abusers Memoirs of a Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor by Kerth Barker (hereafter referred to as “ADDA”):

A number of persons, without consulting me in advance, have chosen to translate ADDA into non-English languages and, in some cases, have begun to distribute such translations in various ways. ADDA, which was originally written in English by myself, was never intended to be published for profit.

My intention in writing and publishing this book was to increase public awareness of the phenomena of child abuse and organized child prostitution. This was done with the hope of helping to bring an end to these tragic practices. And since these practices are international, I do not object to other persons translating ADDA into non-English languages and distributing their translations in whatever way they choose.

However, I do personally disavow all financial, legal and ethical responsibility for such translations. All translators of ADDA must take complete responsibility for their own translations. I will not become involved in the publication or distribution of any such translations. I do not ask for any financial compensation from the translators and would refuse any financial benefits if offered. I do not object to the translators copyrighting their own non-English translations and even profiting from the sale of these translations as long as they understand, agree and comply with the following considerations:

1) Any non-English translation must contain this disclaimer after the title page and before the first chapter of the translated work.

2) I do not in any way relinquish my personal ownership to the original copyrighted English language version of the book Angelic Defenders & Demonic Abusers, Memoirs of a Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor by Kerth Barker.

3) Any copyright made by a translator is limited to his or her own non-English translation; and such translator may not claim rights to the works of other translators.

4) If in translating and distributing ADDA, the translator violates any national or international laws, that translator bears sole legal responsibility for such violations. [Note: The original English language version of the book does contain graphic descriptions of sexual child abuse, deviant sexual practices and torture. These descriptions were made without any pornographic intention and done solely for the purpose of educating the adult public to the harmful nature of child abuse and cultic ritual abuse. However, because the author does not read or write any language other than English, he cannot take responsibility for the translation of these graphic descriptions into other languages. Therefore, the translator is solely responsible.]

5) It should be made clear that ADDA is intended only for adult readership and not for children.
